Road Tests

Reservations are now available for road tests statewide.

Please note: You must bring an up to date pre-licensing course completion certificate. We will not honor expired course completion certificates. Customers whose road tests were canceled because of COVID-19 are being given priority for rescheduling.

Safety Requirements for Road Tests

  • Fully vaccinated individuals do not need to be socially distanced.
  • Unvaccinated/unknown vaccination status individuals need to maintain six feet of social distance from other customers and staff, whenever possible.

  • For everyone's health and safety, all individuals are required to wear face coverings during road tests.

Cleaning and Disinfection

Customers will need to disinfect the passenger side of the vehicle with disinfectant wipes that DMV provides upon arrival.
